How we work

Immigration matters are won or lost on evidence and on timing. Our process is built around establishing the position in writing, agreeing what we will do, and preparing the evidence before an application is submitted.

1. Initial advice

A solicitor reviews your circumstances and immigration history, explains the routes available on those facts, and sets out the requirements and evidence each one would need.

2. Scope and fees agreed in writing

Before substantive work begins we issue an engagement letter setting out what we will do, who will do it, and what it will cost. Fees depend on the scope of work agreed.

3. Evidence review

We list the documents required, review what you have, identify what is missing or inconsistent, and advise on how to address gaps before an application is made rather than after a refusal.

4. Preparation and submission

A solicitor prepares the application and any written submissions, checks them against the requirements relied on, and approves them before they are submitted.

5. After submission

We keep a record of the position on your matter, tell you when something changes, and correspond with the Home Office where that is appropriate. Processing times are set and published by the Home Office and are outside our control.

Internal systems

We use modern internal systems to support efficient, evidence-led legal service delivery. These are internal working methods used by our solicitors and support staff only. The professional indemnity position below applies to them.

Professional indemnity position

  1. 1.We are a regulated law firm providing legal services. We are not a technology or software provider.
  2. 2.Any internal working methods we use support our solicitors. They are not products, and they are not supplied, licensed or made available to clients.
  3. 3.Clients receive legal advice from a solicitor. Clients do not receive access to any internal system.
  4. 4.No internal working method makes, replaces or influences a legal judgment. Every piece of advice and every submission is prepared and approved by a solicitor.
  5. 5.We do not control Home Office decisions, processing times, eligibility or policy, and we make no representation that we do.
  6. 6.Nothing on this website is a guarantee of any outcome, timescale or eligibility.
