This application is to be used by adults over the age of 18 who wish to apply for naturalisation as a British citizen after they have resided lawfully in the UK for at least 5 years and have held indefinite leave to remain/settled status for the last 12 months. This application can only be completed after you have held indefinite leave to remain or settled status in the UK for at least 12 months.
This application is to be used by adults over the age of 18 who wish to apply for naturalisation as a British citizen after they have resided lawfully in the UK for at least 3 years as a spouse and currently have indefinite leave to remain/settled status. This application can be made immediately after you have obtained indefinite leave to remain or settled status in the UK as a spouse.
